Conventions and Expo Security

As a full-service private security provider, Admiral Security Services takes special interest in supplying armed and unarmed security officers for conventions and exhibits. We understand the importance of maintaining crowd control and providing a safe and comfortable environment for events held at hotels, convention centers and other venues with an attendance from 200 to 200,000 attendees.

Admiral Security Services’ respectful and reliable support staff has many different responsibilities of which they are trained and mentored by our experienced senior management team. Our support staff’s vigilance plays a major role in the successful daily operations during the event and overall customer service satisfaction received from clients.

Supervisors

• Ensures staff is knowledgeable of all aspects of venue and site location.
• Understands emergency procedures such as bomb threats, fire, intruders, personal injuries, power failure, etc.
• Knowledgeable of CPR, Heimlich maneuver, and other life saving techniques.
• Ability to communicate without discrimination or harassment.

Badge Checkers

• Assures everyone has proper daily credentials before allowing access to show floor.
• Demonstrates good public relations.

Booth Security

• Secure valuables

Freight Gate Monitors

• Observes all freight movement; not allowing any hand-carried items.
• Inspects all badges during move-in / move-out.
• Reports all suspicious activity and instances where rules are not followed accordingly.

Hall Entrance Monitors

• Controls access to the show floor.
• Thoroughly screen all attendees, exhibitors, site & show personnel, and packages.
• Maintains crowd control.
• Demonstrates good public relations.

Registration

• Watchful and alert of all movement.
• Protects property, equipment and other information by limiting minimum/no entrance after show hours without proper identification.

Rover Patrol

• Walks and observes show floor activity.
• Responds to emergencies.
• Prevent potential dangerous and/or hazardous situations.
• Observes and reports all movement of people and/or packages after show hours.
• Demonstrates good public relations.
